Hi! I’m MacKenzie!

My path to becoming a speech-language pathologist has been shaped by both professional experience and personal passion. I completed most of my undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University before spending a year living in Paris and Switzerland. After returning home, I earned my bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Texas at Dallas, graduating cum laude, and went on to receive my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas.

I have worked with children and families across a variety of settings, including home health, private practice, and public schools. My experience includes speech, language, and feeding therapy, as well as serving medically complex students at Jo Kelly School, where I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to support children with significant medical and physical needs.

As the mother of a child with medical complexities and a speech impairment, I understand firsthand the challenges families face when navigating healthcare, educational services, and advocacy. This experience has strengthened my commitment to helping children develop meaningful communication skills while empowering families to confidently advocate for their needs.

My goal is to provide compassionate, individualized therapy and build strong partnerships with families every step of the way.
